For E-commerce owners and operators
Fake store, real customers. Find the copycat before your shoppers do.
Online retailers are impersonated constantly: cloned storefronts, spoofed order emails and expired certificates at the worst moment. PixelPrivate watches the outside of your store, your email authentication and the lookalike domains using your name.
No credit card. Passive checks only. We never change your systems.
What keeps you up at night
The worries we hear most from this seat
A cloned store takes your customers’ money
Shoppers pay a lookalike site, then blame you when nothing arrives. Refund requests, chargebacks and reviews follow.
Fake "order update" emails
Phishing that mimics your shipping and receipt emails harvests card and login details under your brand.
Certificate expiry on a peak weekend
A browser warning at checkout is lost revenue within minutes. Expiry dates are easy to miss when a platform and a CDN both manage certificates.
Browser warnings and missing protections
Missing HTTPS enforcement or security headers erode trust and can trip payment partner reviews.
Spoofed domain hurts email deliverability
When criminals send as you, mailbox providers lose confidence in your real receipts and marketing mail.

Brand Shield for lookalike stores
Continuous monitoring for newly registered domains resembling your store and brand, with an assessment of which look most like live impersonation.

A 25-person online retailer on a hosted store platform
Imagine a retailer whose store runs on a hosted platform, with newsletters from one tool and support from another. The owner connects the store domain.
A scan like this typically shows how many different services send email on the brand’s behalf and whether each is authenticated, whether the certificate and HTTPS settings on custom domains are healthy, and whether lookalike domains with swapped letters or extra words such as "-outlet" or "-sale" have been registered.
The owner gets a short list: authenticate the newsletter sender, enforce DMARC gradually, and review the two lookalike domains that resemble the storefront.
What a scan like this commonly surfaces
- Newsletter sender not authenticated
- DMARC not enforced
- Lookalike domains with "-outlet" patterns
- Certificate renewal date not tracked
This is a generic example written to explain what the product does. It describes no real company, person, quote or statistic.
Executive summary report
Proof for payment partners and marketplaces
When a payment provider, marketplace or enterprise buyer asks about your domain and email protection, a shareable report gives a dated, plain answer.
See how reports workA shareable report includes
- HTTPS and certificate status
- Email authentication status
- Brand monitoring summary
Describes external posture only. It is not an audit or a certification.
What we do not do
Honest limits, so you know exactly what you are buying
- PixelPrivate does not scan your checkout code or handle card data and is not a PCI DSS assessment or certification.
- It cannot take down a fake site. It identifies indicators and helps you report to the host and registrar, which decide the outcome.
- It does not monitor marketplaces, social media or paid-ad impersonation.
- It does not guarantee your store is secure.

Questions from e-commerce
Can PixelPrivate remove a fake store?
No. It detects likely impersonation and gives you the evidence and the steps to report it to the hosting provider and registrar. Outcomes depend on those parties.
Does it help with PCI compliance?
It is not a PCI assessment. External checks on HTTPS and headers may support good hygiene, but compliance requires your own process and, where relevant, an approved assessor.
We use a hosted platform. Is this still useful?
Yes. The platform secures its own infrastructure, but your domain, DNS, email authentication and brand are yours to protect.
Will it catch fake Instagram or marketplace listings?
No. Brand Shield monitors lookalike domains. It does not cover social or marketplace impersonation.
How quickly are new lookalike domains flagged?
Brand Shield re-checks on a schedule according to your plan and alerts when something new appears. It is not real-time.
