PixelPrivate

For SaaS founders and engineering leaders

Enterprise buyers ask about security before they sign. Be ready with evidence.

For a SaaS company, the security review is part of the sales cycle. PixelPrivate gives engineering-light teams an outside-in view of TLS, headers, email authentication and brand abuse, plus a shareable report to attach to the questionnaire.

No credit card. Passive checks only. We never change your systems.

What keeps you up at night

The worries we hear most from this seat

  • The deal is stuck in security review

Procurement sends a spreadsheet, your sales engineer chases answers across three people and the quarter slips.

  • Customers receive phishing "from you"

Login-themed phishing that mimics your product is a trust problem. If your domain is spoofable, it is also an easy one for criminals.

  • A subdomain nobody remembers

Staging sites, old docs and test environments accumulate on your domain. Some are public and some have stale certificates or missing headers.

  • Headers and TLS drift after a deploy

A CDN or framework change quietly drops a protective header. Nobody notices until a customer’s scanner does.

  • No time for a compliance program yet

You will need SOC 2 or ISO 27001 eventually. Today you need to answer the first questions credibly without a dedicated hire.

What PixelPrivate does about it

Specific checks and monitoring, mapped to those worries

Everything marked Available today works now. Anything marked Roadmap is planned and not yet released.

Available today

External scan with developer-ready detail

Eighteen checks including TLS, HSTS, CSP and other headers, certificates and DNS, each with the evidence and a fix you can paste into config.

Available today

Email authentication for product mail

Verify SPF, DKIM and DMARC across your transactional and marketing senders, so password-reset and invoice emails are both deliverable and hard to spoof.

Brand Shield for lookalike logins

Watch for lookalike domains that could host fake login pages for your product and get alerted when new ones appear.

Monitoring for drift

Scheduled re-scans and alerts when headers, certificates or DNS change after a release.

Readiness checklist and public Trust Page

A SOC 2 and ISO-style readiness checklist and a public Trust Page for buyers. Self-attested readiness, not an audit or certification.

Illustrative scenario — not a customer story

A 40-person SaaS company preparing for its first enterprise deal

Suppose a product team of forty, with engineers but no security hire, is asked by a prospective enterprise customer to complete a security review. The CTO scans the production domain and the marketing site.

A scan like this commonly surfaces inconsistent security headers between the app and the marketing site, a DMARC policy still on monitor, an old docs subdomain with a certificate about to lapse, and no way to show any of that has been checked recently.

The team fixes what it can in an afternoon, re-scans to verify, and attaches the dated report to the questionnaire alongside its own written answers.

What a scan like this commonly surfaces

  • Header gaps on the marketing site
  • DMARC on monitor only
  • Stale documentation subdomain
  • No dated evidence of external review

This is a generic example written to explain what the product does. It describes no real company, person, quote or statistic.

Executive summary report

Evidence to attach to a security questionnaire

A shareable report shows buyers that external posture is actually checked. It is a supporting artifact, and we recommend labelling it as such in your response.

See how reports work

A shareable report includes

  • TLS and header configuration
  • Email authentication status
  • Findings fixed with dates

Describes external posture only. It is not an audit or a certification.

What we do not do

Honest limits, so you know exactly what you are buying

  • PixelPrivate does not scan your application code, APIs behind authentication or your cloud accounts.
  • It is not a penetration test and does not find application-layer vulnerabilities.
  • It does not issue SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification, and the readiness checklist, when released, is self-attested.
  • It does not replace secure engineering practices or a formal audit.

Questions from saas companies

Does this give us SOC 2?

No. SOC 2 requires an independent auditor. PixelPrivate can give you dated external-posture evidence now, and a readiness checklist is on the roadmap. Neither is certification.

Will it find vulnerabilities in our app?

No. It checks external configuration such as TLS, headers, DNS and email authentication. It is not a code scanner or a penetration test.

Can we attach the report to a customer questionnaire?

Yes. Share the report as supporting evidence of external posture, described accurately as an automated outside-in check.

Does it need access to our cloud or repositories?

No. It is agentless and needs only your domain name. It never asks for credentials.

How does it fit into our release process?

Scheduled re-scans and alerts catch configuration drift after deploys. You still need your own testing and review.
