For Anyone completing a cyber insurance application
Answer the insurer’s security questions with evidence, not guesses.
Cyber insurance applications ask what you do about email spoofing, exposed services and certificates. PixelPrivate checks the external answers for you and gives you a dated report to support your application. It cannot promise coverage or a price.
No credit card. Passive checks only. We never change your systems.
What keeps you up at night
The worries we hear most from this seat
A form full of questions nobody owns
Is DMARC enforced? Are remote services exposed? Who knows? The form lands on whoever happens to be nearest.
A wrong "yes" on the application
Overstating controls can cause trouble at claim time. You want answers that match reality.
Renewal brings new requirements
Insurers tighten questions each year, and last year’s answer may no longer be enough.
Premium and eligibility pressure
Weak external hygiene can affect underwriting. You want to know what an outsider sees before the underwriter’s scan does.
No evidence trail
When asked "how do you know?", you have a verbal answer and nothing dated to point to.
What PixelPrivate does about it
Specific checks and monitoring, mapped to those worries
Everything marked Available today works now. Anything marked Roadmap is planned and not yet released.
Check email authentication answers
Verify SPF, DKIM and DMARC and see whether DMARC is monitoring or enforcing, so the application reflects reality.
See email checksSee what the internet sees
Run the eighteen external checks to find exposed services, certificate issues and missing protections before an underwriter’s outside-in scan does.

A 90-person business facing its first cyber insurance renewal questionnaire
Imagine a services business whose broker sends a renewal questionnaire with new questions about email authentication and externally reachable services. The finance lead scans the company domain before answering.
A scan like this commonly shows whether DMARC is enforced or only monitoring, which of several third-party senders are authenticated, and whether any services or certificates are in a state the underwriter would query.
The finance lead corrects two answers, fixes one gap, re-scans to confirm, and attaches the dated report to the application as supporting evidence next to the internal answers on MFA and backups.
What a scan like this commonly surfaces
- DMARC monitoring only
- A third-party sender not authenticated
- Certificate near expiry
- No dated evidence for the broker
This is a generic example written to explain what the product does. It describes no real company, person, quote or statistic.
Executive summary report
A dated report to support the application
Share a report with your broker or insurer showing external email and exposure posture at a specific date, with what changed since the last scan.
See how reports workA shareable report includes
- Email authentication status
- External findings by priority
- Fixes verified by re-scan
Describes external posture only. It is not an audit or a certification.
What we do not do
Honest limits, so you know exactly what you are buying
- PixelPrivate cannot answer questions about MFA, backups, endpoint protection or training. Those depend on your internal controls.
- It does not guarantee coverage, eligibility or pricing, and insurers make their own decisions.
- It does not provide insurance advice. Talk to your broker.
- It is not an audit or certification.

Questions from cyber insurance readiness
Will this get us cyber insurance or a lower premium?
No one can promise that. It helps you check and improve the external controls insurers commonly ask about and keep dated evidence. Decisions remain with the insurer.
Which application questions can it help with?
External ones: email authentication such as SPF, DKIM and DMARC, certificate and HTTPS health, and visible exposed services. Internal controls such as MFA and backups are outside its scope.
Can we send the report to our broker?
Yes. Shareable reports are designed for that, described accurately as an automated outside-in check.
Should we fix issues before submitting?
Generally yes. Fix what you can, re-scan and answer truthfully with the current state. Your broker can advise on timing.
Is there an insurance checklist?
A readiness checklist is on the roadmap and not available yet. Today you get external scans, email checks and reports.
