Free business security check
The fastest way to see where your business stands: one domain in, one prioritized list out. PixelPrivate looks at the public-facing parts of your digital presence that criminals look at first, then tells you what to fix and how.
What this checks
- DNS health, nameserver redundancy and CAA
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC email authentication
- HTTPS, redirect behaviour and certificate expiry
- Security headers, cookie flags and mixed content
- Technology fingerprints that reveal software versions
How to use it
- Enter your domain (not an email address or a full URL path).
- Wait 10–30 seconds while the checks run.
- Read the “Fix first” list. Each item explains the evidence, why it matters and the exact steps.
- After fixing something, rescan to confirm the finding is gone.
Methodology and limitations
PixelPrivate performs passive checks against publicly visible configuration only. It does not test for exploitable vulnerabilities, so a clean result is not a guarantee of security. Read the full security methodology.
Key terms
- DMARC — DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) is a DNS record that tells receiving mail servers what to do with email that claims to be from your domain but fails SPF and DKIM checks..
- HSTS — HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) is a response header that tells browsers to only ever connect to your site over HTTPS..
- TLS — TLS (Transport Layer Security) is the encryption protocol behind HTTPS.
Frequently asked questions
Is this security check really free?
Yes. You can run a basic check with no account and no credit card. Creating a free account lets you save results and turn on monitoring. Fair-use limits apply to prevent abuse.
Does the scan harm my website?
No. It makes a small number of ordinary page and DNS requests, identifies itself as PixelPrivateScanner, and never attempts to exploit anything.
Can I scan a competitor or a client?
Only scan domains you own or are authorized to assess. See our acceptable use policy.
What does the score mean?
The PixelPrivate Security Score is our own 0–100 indicator based on the checks currently available. It is not an industry standard and not a guarantee of security.
