For Manufacturers and distributors
The plant runs. Make sure the front door is not wide open.
Downtime and customer security questionnaires hit manufacturers hard. PixelPrivate covers the part you can check from outside: internet-facing exposure, email spoofing and lookalike domains. It does not touch plant-floor systems, and says so plainly.
No credit card. Passive checks only. We never change your systems.
What keeps you up at night
The worries we hear most from this seat
Downtime that starts at the perimeter
A forgotten remote-access portal or an exposed admin page on the internet is how many disruptive incidents begin. You want it found before someone else finds it.
OEM and customer security reviews
Larger customers now send supplier security questionnaires. Your answers about external exposure and email protection should be backed by something other than "we think so".
Fake purchase orders and invoices
Manufacturers and distributors are used to inbound orders and remittance details by email. Spoofed senders exploit exactly that rhythm.
Acquired sites and old domains
Mergers and old product lines leave behind domains and subdomains nobody maintains, with expired certificates and out-of-date pages.
A lean IT team stretched across everything
One or two people cover ERP, printers, the network and the website. External hygiene is the first thing to slip.
What PixelPrivate does about it
Specific checks and monitoring, mapped to those worries
Everything marked Available today works now. Anything marked Roadmap is planned and not yet released.
Internet-facing exposure scan
Eighteen checks of public DNS, certificates, HTTPS, headers and visible services, so you can see what an outsider sees without installing anything.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC verification to reduce the chance that fake purchase orders or remittance changes appear to come from your domain.

Brand Shield flags new domains that resemble your company or product names, common in fake supplier and distributor scams.

A 120-person distributor with one IT admin
Consider a distributor with a warehouse, a sales office and one IT administrator who also manages the phones. Leadership connects the company domain and a legacy brand domain for a first scan.
A scan like this commonly finds a customer portal subdomain with an expiring certificate, an old landing page still reachable on a retired product domain, and email authentication that was set up years ago before a new marketing platform started sending on the company’s behalf.
These are not exotic problems. They are the unowned corners that appear when a business grows faster than its documentation, and they show up in the first report.
What a scan like this commonly surfaces
- Expiring certificate on a customer portal
- Retired domain still publicly reachable
- New sender missing from SPF and DKIM
- No change alerts configured
This is a generic example written to explain what the product does. It describes no real company, person, quote or statistic.
Executive summary report
A report to answer the customer’s questionnaire
When an OEM asks how you manage external exposure, a dated report of what was checked and fixed is a better answer than a paragraph of assurances.
See how reports workA shareable report includes
- Dated scan results
- Email protection status
- Issues resolved since the last scan
Describes external posture only. It is not an audit or a certification.
What we do not do
Honest limits, so you know exactly what you are buying
- PixelPrivate does not monitor or protect OT, ICS, SCADA or plant-floor systems.
- It provides no endpoint protection for workstations, laptops or shop-floor devices.
- It sees only what is reachable from the public internet: exposed services, DNS, certificates, web configuration, email spoofing posture and lookalike domains.
- It does not guarantee security or replace backups, segmentation or an incident response plan.

Questions from manufacturing
Does PixelPrivate protect our production network?
No. It does not touch OT or plant-floor networks and provides no endpoint protection. It checks what is visible from the internet and your email-spoofing posture only.
Can it find an exposed remote-access portal?
It checks the internet-facing services and configuration it can observe on your domains. It cannot see systems that are not reachable from outside, and it does not claim to find every exposure.
Will it help with customer supplier security questionnaires?
It gives you dated evidence of your external posture to reference in answers. A questionnaire library is on the roadmap, not available today.
We have several plants and domains. Can we scan them all?
You can scan the domains you own and are authorized to assess, within your plan limits. A multi-site rollup view is roadmap.
Is this a replacement for our managed IT provider?
No. It is an independent outside-in check that helps you hold any provider accountable and verify fixes.
