For Practice managers and clinic owners
Patients trust your name. Make sure nobody else can borrow it.
Clinics are targeted with fake appointment and billing messages that borrow the practice’s name. PixelPrivate checks the public side of your security: your website, your email domain and lookalike sites. It does not handle patient data or certify compliance.
No credit card. Passive checks only. We never change your systems.
What keeps you up at night
The worries we hear most from this seat
Fake appointment and billing messages
Patients receive texts and emails that appear to come from your practice, asking for payment or login details.
A patient portal link that looks wrong
An expired certificate or browser warning on a booking page makes patients doubt the practice and call the front desk.
Vendors with access you cannot see
Practice software, billing services and websites are managed by different providers, and nobody has a single view of the public side.
Insurer and partner questions
Cyber insurers and referral partners ask about email protection and website security, and the practice manager is the one filling in the form.
No in-house IT
Many practices rely on one outsourced provider. It is hard to tell whether the basics are in place.
What PixelPrivate does about it
Specific checks and monitoring, mapped to those worries
Everything marked Available today works now. Anything marked Roadmap is planned and not yet released.
Website and certificate checks
External checks of HTTPS, certificates and security headers on your public site and booking pages, with alerts before certificates expire.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC verification so it is harder for criminals to send convincing messages from your practice’s domain.

A 15-person multi-provider clinic with an outsourced IT firm
Imagine a clinic with several practitioners, a front desk and an outsourced IT provider. The practice manager scans the clinic website and its email domain.
A scan like this commonly shows whether the booking page has a healthy certificate, whether email authentication was ever completed after the practice changed email providers, and whether lookalike domains using the clinic’s name have appeared.
The manager gets a short, ranked list to hand to the IT provider and a record to show the insurer. No patient information was involved at any step.
What a scan like this commonly surfaces
- Email authentication incomplete after a provider change
- Booking page certificate near expiry
- Lookalike domain using the clinic name
- No scheduled external review
This is a generic example written to explain what the product does. It describes no real company, person, quote or statistic.
Executive summary report
A plain summary for your insurer or partners
A shareable report records external website and email posture with dates, which is useful when an insurer or referral partner asks what you do to protect your domain.
See how reports workA shareable report includes
- Website and certificate status
- Email spoofing protection status
- Dated progress
Describes external posture only. It is not an audit or a certification.
What we do not do
Honest limits, so you know exactly what you are buying
- PixelPrivate is not HIPAA certification, a HIPAA risk assessment or legal compliance advice. No tool alone makes a practice compliant.
- It never handles, stores or requests protected health information (PHI) and does not scan patient records, EHR systems or devices.
- It looks only at public internet-facing configuration, email domain posture and lookalike domains.
- It does not guarantee security and does not replace staff training, backups or your compliance process.

Questions from healthcare and clinics
Does PixelPrivate make us HIPAA compliant?
No. HIPAA compliance involves policies, training, risk analysis and business associate agreements, which no external scanner can deliver. PixelPrivate checks public website and email configuration only.
Does it touch patient data?
No. It never accesses, stores or requests PHI. It checks your public domain, website and DNS records.
Can it protect our EHR system?
No. It does not scan internal systems, devices or applications. It covers only what is visible from the internet.
Is it useful if our IT is outsourced?
Yes. It gives you an independent view and a plain-English list you can hand to the provider, then verify.
Can we show the report to our insurer?
Yes, as supporting evidence of external posture. It is not an audit or compliance attestation.
