Platform / Email & Brand Protection
Email authentication and brand impersonation protection for small businesses
Most invoice fraud and customer phishing that targets small companies does not break in anywhere. It simply pretends to be you. PixelPrivate checks your SPF, DKIM and DMARC, scores your spoofing risk and watches for lookalike domains registered to imitate your brand.
Make it harder for someone to send email as you or pose as your brand.
Who it is for
Built for teams without a security department
- Companies that send invoices, quotes or password emails and worry about fraudsters using their name.
- Marketing and finance leads who have been told "we need DMARC" but are unsure what it means or how to roll it out without breaking legitimate mail.
- Agencies and MSPs protecting many client domains who need to spot missing or monitor-only DMARC quickly.
Business outcomes
The business problem: your name is the attack surface
Less payment fraud
A forged email that appears to come from your finance team, or a lookalike domain that swaps one letter, is how customers get tricked into paying the wrong account. Enforced DMARC makes exact-domain forgery far less likely to land.
Protected customer trust
When a customer receives a convincing fake from "you", the damage lands on your brand even though your systems were never breached. Monitoring for lookalike domains gives you time to react before a campaign scales.
Better email deliverability
Major mailbox providers expect authenticated mail from bulk and business senders. Correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC reduces the chance your genuine email is filtered into spam.
A straightforward answer for questionnaires
Customers and insurers often ask whether you enforce DMARC. A current report lets you answer with evidence.

How it works
How Email & Brand Protection works
- 1
Check your domain
PixelPrivate reads your public SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and explains each one in plain language.
- 2
See your spoofing exposure
You get a clear picture of whether someone could send convincing mail as your exact domain today.
- 3
Roll out safely
Follow a step-by-step path from monitor-only to enforcement, with the exact record to publish, so legitimate senders are not blocked.
- 4
Watch for lookalikes
Brand Shield looks up similar domains so you can review them, and monitoring alerts you to changes in your own records.
Honest limits
What Email & Brand Protection does not do
- It does not do inbox-level behavioral detection of business email compromise or account takeover. It does not read mailboxes or analyze message content.
- It checks authentication posture and lookalike domains. It does not stop a phishing email sent from a lookalike domain that you do not control; it helps you find and respond to those domains.
- DKIM results can be "unknown" because selectors are not discoverable in every case, and we say so rather than guess.
- Lookalike monitoring surfaces candidates for you to review. It does not take down domains for you.
Compared with enterprise tools
Enterprise email security products use behavioral models on mailbox data to catch account takeover and business email compromise, and they are built and priced for large organizations. PixelPrivate does not attempt that. It covers the foundation those tools assume is in place: authenticated domains and awareness of lookalikes, in a form a small team can run without an integration project.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
SPF lists which servers may send for your domain, DKIM signs messages so tampering is detectable, and DMARC tells receivers what to do when a message fails and where to send reports. You need all three working together for protection.
Will turning on DMARC block my real email?
Not if you roll it out in stages. Start at p=none to collect reports, fix any legitimate sender that fails, then move to quarantine and reject. PixelPrivate explains each stage.
Does this replace an email security gateway?
No. Gateways and mailbox-level tools inspect message content and behavior. PixelPrivate focuses on whether your domain can be forged and whether lookalikes exist, which is a different layer.
How does lookalike detection work?
Brand Shield generates likely variants of your domain, such as typos and character swaps, and looks up whether they are registered, so you can review the ones that matter.
Can PixelPrivate remove a fake domain?
No. It helps you find it and shows the evidence. Removal is done through the registrar or hosting provider, and our guide on responding to impersonation walks through the steps.
